Digital, and more specifically DECwest, gave my husband, Stu, and me a tremendous gift -- the opportunity to move from New Hampshire to the Pacific Northwest. We've both lived through the Digital and Compaq changes (Stu got out before the acquisition was final) and continue to watch as the wonderful company and culture that we were part of has evolved / disappeared. But, for me, even that has been a gift. It has driven me to choose a career opportunity where the choices are mine, where the business is mine -- to cultivate and grow. I know who to thank when things go well, and I know who to have a good 'talking to' when things hiccup. My new real estate business is all about exceptional service and building a business by referral. I look forward to catching up with the DECwest alumni over time. I would be happy to be of assistance if anyone in your life has need of real estate services, no matter where they live. No one should have to find a service person in the Yellow Pages! |

I worked in a little department called Facilities with some wild cats named Jac, Greg & Mark. After getting hit in the back of the head with a layoff, I bounced around through a few jobs until some idiot decided to fly some planes into the WTC. I was then on active duty in the Air Force until 2003. Which is when I made the move to retire after 22 years. I then bounced around a bit until I found this little gig as Business manager for Loft Recordings and Gothic Records. The one down side on that was that I had to move to Orcas island. That really irked me. So now I have to live in a little cabin in Deer Harbor right on the water. ;*) Good luck to all of you!!! PEACE!!! |
